Hawaiian Macaroni Salad

My family LOVED this macaroni salad that is often served with a Hawaiian plate lunch. Make it for your next BBQ as this tangy, cold, and creamy macaroni salad is an excellent side dish for your steaming hot, savory, and/or spicy BBQ meats.

Peanut-Free Vietnamese Chicken and Rice Vermicelli Salad

I love this Vietnamese-inspired chicken salad recipe. It's perfect to enjoy during the summer and most of the ingredients can be prepped ahead so all you need to do is cook the chicken (or reheat it) and assemble. This dish is usually served with a sprinkle of chopped peanuts but when you make it yourself, you can be certain that it's peanut-free.

Dragon Fruit with Watermelon, Strawberry, and Blueberry Salad

One of my food allergy mom strategies is to prepare foods that look interesting or have a special ingredient that's delicious. Instead of focusing on what we can't have due to food allergies, focus on what we can have. Dragon fruit is the star of this recipe and a perfect red, white, and blue dish for 4th of July celebrations.

Website Update!

I'm planning a website redesign during July, beginning sometime after July 5th and hopefully completed by the end of July. I'm hoping to give it a little bit of a more modern look but mainly make it easier to find recipes. I've been blogging for 10+ years now and I'm always surprised when I find a recipe or post that I haven't looked at in a while! lol

I'm also thinking about what to do with non-recipe posts, keep, delete, or update? A famous (non-food allergy) blogger once asked me why I share so many non-recipe posts with allergy mom tips like how to read food allergy labels or how to navigate eating at Disneyland, or research updates, etc.. I feel like I could share more but maybe it needs to be a different format (book, video, etc). What do you think? Let me know by responding to this 30-second poll, the poll will end in 7 days.
